The Ferrari F40 is a supercar manufactured by Ferrari to celebrate the company's 40th anniversary, and was the last model personally approved by company founder Enzo Ferrari before his passing.
Its Pininfarina-styled berlinetta body uses mainly composite materials for its body panels, having parts made of carbon fibre, aluminium, and kevlar. Offered only in red and having an interior spartan in the extreme, the F40 was the fastest production car of its time, being capable of surpassing 200 mph (322 km/h) of top speed.
The car is powered by a mid-mounted 90 degree V8 twin-turbocharged engine, which combined with a first class chassis gave it the kind of great dynamic prowess that was close to that of a racing car.
